The Intermatic Freeze Protection Control is self-contained in an outdoor, beige, rainproof enclosure and designed to be connected to our AS-TC-94 hot tub control / timer. Together, the Freeze Control and timer protect the Pool/Spa equipment and plumbing system against freeze damage.
This Freeze Control, if wired according to instructions, turns ON the circulation system when the air temperature drops below the temperature set by the thermostat dial (between 32°F and 45°F). However, the Control is not intended to be a substitute for proper winter maintenance and running the system regularly during freezing temperatures.
The Freeze Control runs off a 20 amp breaker and can be hooked up to either 120v or 240v power, depending on your pump voltage.
