Our saunas and cold plunges are designed for easy DIY installation, with no cutting, modifications, or special skills required. Each sauna kit includes pre-cut, interlocking panels that fit together precisely, allowing you to assemble your sauna in just a few hours using basic construction skills.

Our cold plunges arrive ready to use; just unpack, plug-in, fill with water, and plunge away.

Every sauna ships with a printed assembly manual inside the crate, tailored specifically to your model, always follow these instructions during installation. If you'd like to preview the process ahead of time, digital assembly manuals and assembly videos are available online here.

Before You Begin Installation

Review Instructions and Gather Supplies

Before you begin installation, carefully read through your assembly manuals and gather all necessary supplies.

Required Tools

Sauna and cold plunge set ups require common household tools; this includes some of the following:

Tools for Sauna Assembly:

  • Power drill with T20 ("torx") bit
  • Rubber mallet
  • Hammer
  • Two adjustable wrenches
  • Measuring tape
  • Level

Tools for Cold Plunge assembly:

  • Screwdriver
  • Scissors

Choose the Right Location

Select a stable, level location with sufficient clearance for assembly and access. Be sure the area allows for proper drainage and has convenient access to electricity. Thoughtful site selection helps ensure safe operation and long-term durability.

Check Local Building Requirements

Depending on your location, a building permit or HOA approval may be required to build a sauna. Always check local regulations before installation.

Hire an Electrician

A trusted licensed electrician must be hired to install your sauna heater. Sauna heaters do not plug in to standard outlets and must be hardwired to your electrical panel.

Build a Solid Foundation

A solid, level base is essential for the longevity and performance of your sauna and cold plunge.  
For Saunas  
Recommended foundation types include:  
  • Concrete pad or concrete footings under each sauna cradle   
  • Solid deck or reinforced platform  
  • Compacted gravel base  
  • Level stone or paver patio  
The foundation must support the full weight of the sauna and all occupants.  
For Cold Plunges  
Recommended foundation types include:   
  • Level concrete pad   
  • Reinforced deck or platform   
  • New vinyl or laminate surface   
  • Sturdy ceramic or tile floor   
  • Level stone or paver patio  
The foundation must support the full weight of the cold plunge, water, and occupant.
