Easy DIY Sauna Installation
Designed for Hassle Free Assembly
Our saunas are built for easy DIY installation, with no cutting, modifications, or special skills required. Each kit includes pre cut, interlocking panels that fit together precisely, allowing you to assemble your sauna in just a few hours using basic construction skills.
Every sauna ships with a printed assembly manual inside the crate, tailored specifically to your model. If you’d like to preview the process ahead of time, digital assembly manuals and assembly videos are available online here.
Because our sauna designs continue to evolve, always follow the printed instructions included with your sauna during installation.
Before You Begin Your Sauna Installation
Review Instructions and Gather Supplies
Before starting your sauna build, carefully read through your assembly manual and gather all necessary supplies.
Recommended Tools
Sauna assembly requires common household tools, including:
- Power drill with T20 ("torx") bit
- Rubber mallet
- Hammer
- Two adjustable wrenches
- Measuring tape
- Level
Choose the Right Location
Select a stable, level location with sufficient clearance for assembly and access. Be sure the area allows for proper drainage and is within reach of your electrical connection. Thoughtful site selection helps ensure safe operation and long term durability.
Check Local Building Requirements
Depending on your location, a building permit or HOA approval may be required. Always check local regulations before starting installation.
Hire an Electrician
A trusted licensed electrician must be hired to install your sauna heater. Sauna heaters do not plug into standard outlets and must be hardwired to your electrical panel.
Build a Solid Foundation
A solid, level base is essential for the longevity and performance of your sauna.
Recommended foundation types include:
- Concrete pad
- Solid deck or reinforced platform
- Compacted gravel base
- Level stone or paver patio
The foundation must support the full weight of the sauna and all occupants.
We recommend putting down a moisture barrier such as a polyurethane sheet or epoxy sealant under the base to protect the sauna from premature wear.
Assembling Your Sauna
Preparing for an Efficient Install
Before assembling:
- Read through the entire assembly manual and watch the assembly video
- Verify all pieces in the sauna kit using the parts list included in the manual
- Lay out the pieces in sections by the steps listed in the manual to streamline the assembly process
