The barrel sauna first originated in mid-20th century Finland, inspired by large barrels used to hold tar. These saunas quickly became popular, spreading across Finland and nearby countries.
At Redwood Outdoors we hold on to this heritage, making our saunas out of natural lumber, the way Finnish sauna builders have done for decades. Ushering them into the modern day with innovative designs and contemporary materials to make the sauna lifestyle more attainable and a part of your everyday wellness routine.
