LIMITED WARRANTY ON HOT TUBS AND COLD PLUNGE TUBS

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY (“LIMITED WARRANTY”) IS PROVIDED BY RED ROCK OUTDOORS CO., D/B/A REDWOOD OUTDOORS (“REDWOOD OUTDOORS,” “WE,” “US,” OR “OUR”), A WYOMING CORPORATION, TO THE ORIGINAL END-USER PURCHASER OF A HOT TUB OR COLD PLUNGE TUB (“PRODUCT”) PURCHASED EITHER DIRECTLY FROM REDWOOD OUTDOORS OR THROUGH AN AUTHORIZED REDWOOD OUTDOORS RETAILER, DEALER, OR PARTNER (“YOU”). THIS LIMITED WARRANTY MAY ALSO BE FOUND ONLINE AT WWW.REDWOODOUTDOORS.COM/WARRANTY.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DESCRIBES YOUR EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY RIGHTS. OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR QUALIFYING DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS IS LIMITED TO THE REMEDIES EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN SECTION 6 BELOW, SUBJECT TO THE TERMS, CONDITIONS, EXCLUSIONS, AND LIMITATIONS CONTAINED IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT.

1. GRANT OF LIMITED WARRANTY

We warrant that, during the Warranty Period (as defined below), the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms set forth herein and our Terms of Service, available at https://www.redwoodoutdoors.com/terms-of-service/ (the “Terms of Service”), which are incorporated herein by reference.

If a defect in materials or workmanship arises during the Warranty Period, subject to the conditions set forth in Section 2, you may be entitled to one or more remedies described in Section 6.

2. COVERAGE OF LIMITED WARRANTY

This Limited Warranty applies only under the following conditions:

(a) The Product was purchased directly from Redwood Outdoors or from an authorized Redwood Outdoors retailer, dealer, or partner.

(b) The defect existed at the time the Product left Redwood Outdoors’ control and arises during the Warranty Period.

(c) Coverage applies only to the original end-user purchaser (“you”) and does not extend to any subsequent owner or transferee.

(d) The Warranty Period begins on the date of delivery and continues for one (1) year. The Warranty Period is not extended by repair or replacement.

3. IMPORTANT PRODUCT USE AND MAINTENANCE

Hot tubs and cold plunge systems are water-based mechanical systems that require ongoing maintenance and proper operating conditions.

You are responsible for maintaining:

  • proper water chemistry (including pH, alkalinity, and mineral levels)
  • clean and functional filtration systems
  • appropriate environmental conditions
  • regular inspection and maintenance of the Product

Clear water does not necessarily indicate proper water balance. Improper maintenance can cause damage that is not related to a defect in materials or workmanship.

4. DEFECTS OUTSIDE OF LIMITED WARRANTY

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage, conditions, failures, or defects caused by or resulting from:

(a) transportation or freight damage;
(b) improper storage or handling;
(c) misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper use;
(d) failure to properly install the Product or follow instructions;
(e) improper electrical setup, voltage, grounding, or use of extension cords;
(f) failure to maintain proper water chemistry, including pH imbalance, alkalinity issues, hardness imbalance, scale buildup, or corrosive conditions;
(g) corrosion, mineral deposits, chemical damage, or deterioration caused by water conditions;
(h) restricted water flow due to clogged filters, debris, or lack of maintenance;
(i) failure to clean, replace, or maintain filters, UV systems, or sanitation components;
(j) environmental exposure, including weather, sunlight, debris, or airflow restriction;
(k) modification, alteration, or unauthorized repairs;
(l) normal wear and tear;
(m) external causes, accidents, or events beyond our control; or
(n) cosmetic blemishes that do not affect the function of the Product.

Performance variations caused by environmental conditions, including ambient temperature, airflow, or starting water temperature, do not constitute defects.

Damage resulting from maintenance-related conditions is not considered a defect in materials or workmanship.

5. FREEZING CONDITIONS AND WINTER USE

Cold plunge and hot tub systems contain water-filled internal components that can be damaged if exposed to freezing temperatures.

These Products must not be operated, stored, or left filled with water in temperatures at or below 32°F (0°C) unless properly winterized.

If the Product is exposed to freezing conditions, it must be fully drained and properly winterized according to Redwood Outdoors instructions. Failure to fully drain all internal water can result in freezing within pumps, plumbing, and internal components.

Operation or storage of the Product in freezing conditions without proper winterization will void warranty coverage for resulting damage.

Damage caused by freezing, including cracked plumbing, damaged pumps, or internal component failure, is considered an environmental condition and is not covered under this Limited Warranty.

6. REMEDIES UNDER LIMITED WARRANTY

If a qualifying defect is confirmed, Redwood Outdoors will, at its sole discretion, provide one or more of the following remedies:

(a) Provide replacement parts;
(b) Provide troubleshooting support or technical guidance;
(c) Replace the Product, in whole or in part, if deemed unrepairable;
(d) For Products purchased directly from Redwood Outdoors, refund either a portion or the original purchase price paid for the Product;
(e) For Products purchased through an authorized retailer, refunds or returns must be handled by the selling retailer.

Labor, installation, removal, or third-party service costs are not covered unless approved in writing.

If return shipment is required for an approved claim, Redwood Outdoors will cover reasonable shipping costs for authorized returns only. Unauthorized shipments are not covered.

Redwood Outdoors is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

All implied warranties are disclaimed to the extent permitted by law and are limited to the duration of the Warranty Period.

9. AUTHENTICITY / ELIGIBILITY
