LIMITED WARRANTY ON HARVIA ELECTRIC SAUNA HEATERS

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY (“LIMITED WARRANTY”) IS ADMINISTERED BY RED ROCK OUTDOORS CO., D/B/A REDWOOD OUTDOORS (“REDWOOD OUTDOORS,” “WE,” “US,” OR “OUR”), A WYOMING CORPORATION, TO THE ORIGINAL END-USER PURCHASER OF A HARVIA ELECTRIC SAUNA HEATER (“PRODUCT”) PURCHASED EITHER DIRECTLY FROM REDWOOD OUTDOORS OR THROUGH AN AUTHORIZED REDWOOD OUTDOORS RETAILER, DEALER, OR PARTNER (“YOU”). THIS LIMITED WARRANTY MAY ALSO BE FOUND ONLINE AT WWW.REDWOODOUTDOORS.COM/WARRANTY.

REDWOOD OUTDOORS SERVES AS THE CUSTOMER-FACING WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR FOR QUALIFYING CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PRODUCT. WARRANTY SUPPORT, CLAIM REVIEW, AND REMEDIES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH REDWOOD OUTDOORS, SUBJECT TO THE TERMS, CONDITIONS, EXCLUSIONS, AND LIMITATIONS CONTAINED IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DESCRIBES YOUR EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY RIGHTS. OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR QUALIFYING DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS IS LIMITED TO THE REMEDIES EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN SECTION 4 BELOW.

1. GRANT OF LIMITED WARRANTY

We warrant that, during the applicable Warranty Period defined below, the Product you purchased will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms set forth herein and our Terms of Service, available at https://www.redwoodoutdoors.com/terms-of-service/, as amended from time to time (the “Terms of Service”), which are incorporated herein by reference.

If the Product contains a qualifying defect in materials or workmanship and you notify us during the applicable Warranty Period, you may be entitled to one or more remedies described in Section 4.

2. COVERAGE OF LIMITED WARRANTY

This Limited Warranty shall not be interpreted to include any issues, persons, Products, or time periods outside of the conditions set forth below:

(a) This Limited Warranty applies only to Products purchased directly from Redwood Outdoors or from an authorized Redwood Outdoors retailer, dealer, or partner.

(b) Coverage applies only to defects in materials and/or workmanship that existed at the time the Product left the manufacturer’s or authorized distributor’s control and that arise during the applicable Warranty Period.

(c) This Limited Warranty extends only to the original end-user purchaser of the Product (“you”) and does not extend to any subsequent owner, transferee, reseller, assignee, or other person.

(d) For residential installations, the applicable Warranty Period begins on the date you receive delivery of the Product and continues as follows:

(i) Heating elements are covered for one (1) year. “Heating elements” means the factory-installed heating coils or element assemblies designed to generate heat.

(ii) All other non-consumable components of the Product are covered for five (5) years on a limited basis.

(iii) Warranty periods are not extended by any repair, replacement, or service provided under this Limited Warranty.

(e) Commercial or other non-residential installations are excluded unless otherwise expressly agreed by Redwood Outdoors in writing.

3. DEFECTS OUTSIDE OF LIMITED WARRANTY

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage, conditions, failures, or defects caused by or resulting from:

(a) transportation or freight damage; (b) improper storage; (c) misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper use; (d) failure to properly install the Product in accordance with manufacturer instructions, Redwood Outdoors guidance, or applicable electrical, building, or safety codes; (e) improper voltage, power surges, undersized wiring, incorrect breaker sizing, inadequate electrical service, or improper grounding; (f) installation, service, or repair performed by unauthorized persons; (g) modification, alteration, tampering, or use of non-approved components, controls, sensors, or accessories; (h) operation outside intended sauna room size, ventilation, temperature, humidity, or environmental conditions; (i) use of improper sauna stones, overloaded stone compartments, blocked airflow, or failure to maintain stones in serviceable condition; (j) routine maintenance items, consumable components, or normal wear and tear, including heating elements that have reached normal service life after expiration of the applicable Warranty Period; (k) water intrusion, flooding, corrosion, rust, mineral buildup, or chemical exposure; (l) external causes, accidents, acts of nature, or events beyond our reasonable control; or (m) cosmetic blemishes that do not materially impair the intended function of the Product.

4. REMEDIES UNDER LIMITED WARRANTY

With respect to any qualifying defective Product of which we are properly notified during the applicable Warranty Period, Redwood Outdoors will, at its sole discretion, provide one or more of the following remedies:

(a) Provide replacement parts or components;

(b) Provide troubleshooting assistance, technical support, or repair guidance where appropriate;

(c) Replace the defective Product, in whole or in part, with a new, refurbished, or comparable product if Redwood Outdoors determines the Product is unrepairable or replacement is otherwise appropriate;

(d) For Products purchased directly from Redwood Outdoors, refund either a portion or the original purchase price paid for the Product, depending on the nature and extent of the defect;

(e) For Products purchased through an authorized retailer, dealer, or partner, Redwood Outdoors does not provide direct refunds of the original purchase transaction. Any refund, return, cancellation, or credit relating to the original sale must be processed through the selling retailer and remains subject to that seller’s applicable policies and applicable law.

Labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, electrician, contractor, permit, travel, lodging, service-call, loss-of-use, or other third-party service costs are not covered under this Limited Warranty unless expressly approved by Redwood Outdoors in writing.

If Redwood Outdoors requires return shipment of a qualifying defective Product, part, or component as part of an approved warranty claim, Redwood Outdoors will assume responsibility for reasonable shipping charges associated with the authorized return. Unauthorized returns or customer-initiated shipments are not covered.

5. NOTICE OF DEFECTS / HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM

To request warranty service, you must email our customer support team at support@redwoodoutdoors.com during the applicable Warranty Period and provide:

(i) Product model number;

(ii) serial number, if available;

(iii) date of purchase;

(iv) name of purchaser;

(v) name of retailer, dealer, or partner (if applicable);

(vi) proof of purchase;

(vii) a description of the claimed defect;

(viii) photographs and/or video of the issue, if requested; and

(ix) basic installation and electrical information, if requested.

We may request additional information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

No warranty service will be provided unless we receive timely notice and determine, at our sole discretion, that the claimed condition is covered under this Limited Warranty.

Warranty claims due to cosmetic damage during manufacturing, shipping, or handling must be reported within thirty (30) days of receipt of the Product.

6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE LESSER OF: (i) THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID FOR THE PRODUCT, OR (ii) THE THEN-CURRENT MSRP OF THE PRODUCT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REDWOOD OUTDOORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF ENJOYMENT, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR OTHER COMMERCIAL LOSS.

WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY THAT CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD.

THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES.

TO THE EXTENT ANY JURISDICTION DOES NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS, SUCH LIMITATIONS SHALL APPLY ONLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

7. AUTHENTICITY / ELIGIBILITY

Redwood Outdoors reserves the right to deny warranty coverage for Products with removed, altered, or unreadable serial numbers, counterfeit parts, materially altered components, or unverifiable purchase origin.

8. DISPUTES

If you believe Redwood Outdoors has not fulfilled its obligations under this Limited Warranty, and the matter cannot be resolved after notice under Section 5, any dispute shall be resolved in accordance with Section 17 of the Terms of Service (Governing Law; Forum; Waiver of Jury Trial). Any terms not expressly addressed in this Limited Warranty shall be governed by the Terms of Service.
