Delivery Day: What to Expect
Redwood Outdoors saunas and cold plunge tubs are shipped using freight delivery to ensure safe, secure transport from our warehouse to your home. Below is everything you need to know about shipping and what to expect on your delivery day.
Our saunas and cold plunge tubs are shipped in durable wooden crates designed to protect the product during transit.
We partner with multiple trusted freight carriers to ensure your order arrives safely and efficiently at your curbside.
If you’ve ordered multiple large products—such as a sauna and a cold plunge—they may arrive in separate shipments.
Our shipments are delivered by a large freight truck, typically equipped with a liftgate. This allows the carrier to lower the crate to ground level upon arrival.
Your shipment is on the way, here's how to prepare.
Once your order arrives at the carrier’s local depot, they will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.
All freight shipments are curbside delivery, meaning the crate is placed at the end of your driveway or nearest accessible location.

Assembly & Manuals
Our cold plunges are designed for simple do-it-yourself setup, with no building or complex instillation required. Each unit arrives ready to use; just unpack, plug-in, fill with water and plunge away.
Every cold plunge ships with a printed user manual inside the crate, tailored specifically to your model. If you'd like to preview the set up process ahead of time, manuals are available online; you can find cold plunge user manuals here.
Because our designs continue to evolve, always follow the printed instructions included with your cold plunge during set up.
Before starting up your cold plunge, carefully read through your user manual and gather all necessary supplies.
Our cold plunge setup requires common household tools, including:
Select a stable, level location with convenient access to electricity. Proper site selection ensures safe operation and long-term durability of your cold plunge.
A solid, level base is essential for the longevity and performance of your cold plunge. Recommended foundation types include:
The foundation must support the full weight of the cold plunge, water and the occupant.
The following is a general overview of the cold plunge setup process. Our designs are always evolving, so please refer to your user manual when you are ready to plunge.
Our customer support team is available to assist with questions before, during, or after installation.
