Dual heating and cooling. Chill the plunge tub to as low as 37°F and take an invigorating dip or heat it up to 104°F for a relaxing soak.
Choose how you control your cold plunge. Maximize convenience with Wi-Fi-enabled controls and remotely set the temperature of your cold plunge tub from anywhere or keep it simple with manual digital controls. The choice is yours.

About Our Heat-Treated Lumber

Made of Hemlock

The cold plunge tub exterior panels are made of hemlock, chosen for its natural ability to insulate, resist moisture, and withstand the elements. All the hemlock used in our cold plunge tubs is sourced from responsibly managed forests in Canada that adhere to strict environmental and social standards.

Heat-Treated for Exceptional Durability

Our hemlock undergoes a specialized thermal modification process to increase durability. This three-phase process begins with kiln-drying the wood, followed by heating it to temperatures above 400°F (204°C), finished by slowly cooling through a controlled steaming process. This procedure changes the wood on a cellular level, compressing its internal channels to create a denser structure. The result is a stronger material that is better protected against damage from environmental factors such as weather and insects. The natural moisture resistance of hemlock is also enhanced, preventing swelling and warping over time.

All Natural, Built to Last

Our thermal modification process relies solely on heat and water—no chemicals involved. This technique increases the lifespan of your wood naturally, without the use of any additives.

Caring For Your Cold Plunge

Regular maintenance is needed to keep your cold plunge running in peak condition. The built-in UV sanitation system kills most bacteria, but routine water testing, chemical balancing, filter cleaning, and water replacement is still needed.

Please refer to your Cold Plunge User Manual for detailed instructions on how to perform routine maintenance tasks.

Recommended Water Maintenance:

Once a week - test the water to maintain the proper alkaline, pH, and calcium (hardness) levels, adjusting with the appropriate treatments to keep the water within a recommended range. Our Water Balancing Kit provides the chemicals and the testing strips needed to make these adjustments. 
Once a month - clean the water filter by soaking it in a filter cleaning agent for 24 hours, then rinse and air dry before reinstalling. Tip: We recommend keeping an extra filter on hand to be swapped out during the cleaning process, reducing the down time of your cold plunge. 
At least once a month - drain the tub and change the water. While the tub is empty, wipe the acrylic liner with a microfiber cloth and soapy water. 
Every 6-12 months - replace the water filter to maintain optimal water quality.

Winter Usage

Your Cold Plunge has a built-in dual heater/chiller and can be used throughout the seasons, whether you are taking an invigorating cold dip or a warm soak. However, when outside temperatures start to dip below freezing, it is time to winterize your tub to protect it from damage.

When temperatures drop below 32°F, you must winterize your cold plunge to avoid ice forming in the internal components and damaging the equipment. Damage caused by use in temperatures below 32 °F is not covered by the warranty.

Delivery: What to Expect

Redwood Outdoors saunas and cold plunge tubs are shipped using freight delivery to ensure safe, secure transport from our warehouse to your home. Below is everything you need to know about shipping and what to expect on your delivery day.

How Redwood Outdoors Products are Shipped

Our saunas and cold plunge tubs are shipped in durable wooden crates designed to protect the product during transit. 

With the shipment of a sauna, the heater, rocks and accessories will either arrive in a box strapped to the top of your crate or arrive separately.

We partner with multiple trusted freight carriers to ensure your order arrives safely and efficiently at your curbside.

Once your shipment leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number and link to follow your delivery.

If you’ve ordered multiple large products—such as a sauna and a cold plunge—they may arrive in separate shipments. 

Freight Delivery

Our shipments are delivered by a large freight truck, typically equipped with a liftgate. This allows the carrier to lower the crate to ground level upon arrival. 

If your delivery location has limited access for large trucks—such as steep, unpaved, gated, or restricted roads—please contact our customer service team before shipment so we can review access requirements and help you prepare.

Delivery Day

Your shipment is on the way, here's how to prepare.

Once your order arrives at the carrier’s local depot, they will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.

Appointments are typically scheduled within 2–3 business days of arrival at the depot. 
Please ensure that someone is available to receive and sign for the delivery when it arrives at your home.
- If your heater is shipped separately, a signature will be required for that shipment as well.

All freight shipments are curbside delivery, meaning the crate is placed at the end of your driveway or nearest accessible location. 

For liability reasons, freight carriers are unable to move shipments beyond the curb or into backyards, garages, or other areas of the property.  If you need help relocating your crate after delivery, we recommend arranging assistance in advance.
